About Jinay
From being a middle and high schooler in this day and age, I know how tough understanding concepts in math and English can be. I have done countless tutoring sessions with adults and they are either confusing or teach me in a way that I don't understand. I wanted to change this by allowing the people I tutor to tell me the best way they learn and then adapt to that. My goal is to confidently allow my students to learn material without being stressed and confused.

As a dedicated English and Math tutor for middle and high school students, my lessons are designed to be engaging, supportive, and personalized. I focus on building strong foundational skills, boosting confidence, and helping students achieve both academic success and long-term learning growth. In English, I help students improve reading comprehension, writing structure, grammar, and literary analysis. Whether it's essay writing, preparing for standardized tests, or strengthening everyday writing skills, I guide students step by step. In Math, I make complex topics more approachable by breaking them down into simple, understandable parts. From pre-algebra and algebra to geometry and precalculus, I tailor my teaching to meet each student’s unique learning style. I believe learning should be interactive and empowering. My goal is not just to help students do better in school—but to help them think critically, ask questions confidently, and enjoy the process of learning.
