About Ananya
I am an Industrial Engineering student at University of Toronto, entering my second year in the fall 2022. I am patient, positive, and outgoing demeanor helps to put my peers at ease. I am an organized person who pays great attention to detail and is a great listener. Throughout my school life I scored excellent grades and tutored my peers. Currently I have leveraged creative techniques to teach English as a second language to new Canadian immigrants. I can work with all age groups, as I have gained experience through my extracurriculars to work with children and adults.

I have studied in Ontario and gone through the transition from elementary school to middle school and then high school and know how huge the jump it is in university. Being an engineering student at University of Toronto, I am good at technical courses and linguistic skills. My patient, positive, and friendly demeanor helps to put my peers at ease.
I currently teach English as a special language and mentor new immigrants with cultural familiarization. My endeavor is to help people settle into Canada with ease and overcome communication barriers. I use creative techniques to develop customized learning tools for individual requirements, and help improve spoken language and writing skills, necessary to succeed at workplace or school. In summer camp I have also delt with elementary students. With all the skills and experiences I can be an excellent tutor
