About Tamara
I am a South African living in Edinburgh. I was previously a tutor for students in Year 9 and below. I achieved an >85% average in 8 subjects for IEB (including Advanced Programme Mathematics), and am currently studying International Business at The University of Edinburgh. I speak two languages and achieved an 8.5 in my IELTS Examination.

My teaching method is based on my tutee and the subject that I am tutoring, but I prefer a practical approach by means of continuous testing. This enables my students to witness their progress, and for us to pinpoint individual issues that my student is struggling with. I am patient, and am able to explain complex topics and ideas in a variety of different ways.

Details
Prices are negotiable. The first 1 hour lesson will be free in order to determine the student's progress and issues, as well as get to know the student. If the travelling distance is very far, an extra cost of travel might need to be discussed. There is no cancellation fee for lessons. During University holidays, in-person lessons might have to be moved online, but will be discussed individually with the client.
