About Brianna
Have been playing, singing, and writing music for the last 10 years. I joined every possible band and choir opportunity my schools had. Wether it was concert, jazz, pep, marching, or an instrument specific group, I was in it when it came to band. I was also drum major for two years in marching band and student taught 7th grade band in my senior year of highschool.

When it comes to teaching, I find that progress is more important than perfection. When working with music, especially learning it, you don’t just master it in a day. It’s been 10 years for me and I still wouldn’t say I’ve mastered it. To me, what really matters is seeing my student’s faces when they get their first sound out of their instrument, getting the notes on the staff correctly, or finally figure out something that they kept saying that they couldn’t. I wouldn’t say I’m teaching anyone to become the next Mozart or Paul Desmond. I want to teach my students starting at the beginning and watching them grow into whoever they want to be.
