About Maria

I'm a native Russian speaker with a background in education and several years of teaching experience both online and in person. I have worked with students from all over the world — from complete beginners to advanced learners — and I always strive to make my lessons friendly, clear, and meaningful. I speak English fluently and have experience working with both English- and non-English-speaking students, which allows me to explain complex grammar and cultural nuances in a way that’s easy to understand. You're in good hands — I’ll make sure that you feel heard, supported, and gently challenged. I truly believe that learning a language should be a joyful and empowering journey.

About the lesson

С удовольствием! Вот милое, дружелюбное и профессионально звучащее описание твоего подхода как преподавателя русского языка, на английском языке и в стиле, который подходит для платформ вроде Preply или Italki: --- **As a tutor, I believe in creating a warm, relaxed, and supportive space where each student feels safe to learn, make mistakes, and grow. I tailor every lesson to your personal goals, whether you're a complete beginner, preparing for an exam, or simply want to practice conversation.** My teaching method combines clear explanations of grammar with fun, real-life examples, interactive exercises, and plenty of speaking practice. I use visuals, games, short texts, and dialogues to keep lessons dynamic and engaging — always focusing on real communication, not just rules. A typical lesson includes: - A short warm-up and revision of previous material - Introduction of new topics (vocabulary or grammar) with context - Guided practice (exercises, questions, short dialogues) - Speaking practice with real-life situations - A gentle wrap-up and recommendations for self-study What sets me apart is that I truly care about your comfort and progress — I always listen, adapt, and stay flexible to your needs and energy. My students often say that they feel calm and inspired after our sessions. These lessons are ideal for: - Beginners who want a safe and encouraging start - Intermediate learners who need more structure and practice - Students preparing for TRKI exams - Adults learning Russian for travel, work, or cultural interest Let’s learn at your pace — with kindness, clarity, and maybe even a little laughter
