About Ziva

I am an enthusiastic Physics tutor with over 3 years of experience helping students succeed in high school physics. I hold a BSc in Space and Planetary Science and enjoy guiding learners preparing for IGCSE and A-Level Physics examinations. My aim is to make physics clear and approachable.

I focus on building strong foundations through structured explanations and logical reasoning. Each lesson breaks complex ideas into manageable steps. This helps students develop confidence in solving problems.

My main teaching areas include Mechanics, Electricity, and Waves. I explain the theory behind these topics and guide students through detailed derivations so they understand the physics behind each formula.

Hands-on demonstrations and practical examples help connect theory with observation. Past paper analysis is also an important part of my teaching, allowing students to become familiar with exam-style questions.

About the lesson

My teaching approach focuses on making physics clear, structured, and exam-ready. I combine conceptual explanation with focused practice so students can understand and apply what they learn. This balance helps build long-term confidence.

I teach topics such as mechanics, electricity and magnetism, waves, optics, and basic modern physics. Each concept is reviewed carefully before moving into advanced problem solving. Students learn both theory and application.

For AP Physics preparation, I use targeted drills and timed practice tests to strengthen exam performance. Students practice solving problems efficiently and accurately. This method improves both speed and confidence.

Exam strategy is another key part of my lessons. Students learn how to recognise question patterns, manage time during exams, and organise their solutions clearly. These skills reduce stress on exam day.

Students who enjoy logical thinking and scientific ideas often excel in this learning environment. Lessons encourage curiosity while strengthening analytical skills.
