About Mary
I am a senior pursuing the Yoga Studies Minor at The University of North Carolina Wilmington, working towards a RYT-200 Certification. I have taught Vinyasa, Restorative and Yin Yoga classes within the minor to classes of 1-4 people, and I have been giving lessons for a little under a year.

My classes are mantra based, with intentions that last throughout the sequences. I like to teach restorative, yin, and vinyasa classes. I always start my classes with a light meditation and warm up, then move into a flow, and end with a gentle meditation. My classes are fun, easy going and focused on safety.

Mary was an excellent teacher! I’ve been practicing yoga for a few years, and although Mary is working towards getting certified she is very knowledgeable. She was quite calm, welcoming, and confident. She put together a wonderful sequence and showed the utmost professionalism. Definitely doing another class!
Mary was such a fantastic teacher! I’m as beginner as you can get and Mary made me feel so comfortable and at ease. She’s a University Student working on her certification, but I was so impressed with her level of confidence and knowledge while teaching, as well as her readiness to add in modifications for when I needed it. I would 100% recommend Mary for any of your Hatha/ other yoga needs. Can’t wait for my next class!

I wanted to make my prices lower than most classes because I am a knowledgeable teacher however I'm not RTY-200 Certified until May 2021.
My main goal is to gain valuable teaching experience by teaching virtual yoga classes.
