About Anjali

After being awarded Distinction in Grade 8 LAMDA exams 8 years ago, I was asked to prepare some students for the LAMDA exams. Children have consistently achieved high marks and since then through word of mouth, the number of students who I prepare for the exams has grown vastly. It has been incredible to see how students grow in confidence and improve their vocal skills as they progress through the grades. Having completed the exams myself, I have seen how doing the LAMDA exams has not only equipped me with essential skills but also gave me a lead when applying to university, facing job interviews and speaking in front of the public. Since this is not on the school curriculum, my aim as a teacher has always been to make LAMDA accessible for children from all backgrounds at an affordable cost as it prepares them for a better future.

About the lesson

1 hour face-to-face lessons available in small groups of a maximum of 3 children in a class. Lessons are tailored to the student's ability and we focus on performance techniques, ways to improve diction, vocal articulation, voice projection etc. Preparing for exams also includes analysing poems and extract pieces which support English literature skills. As the grades progress, we advance on these skills accordingly. 1-2-1 lessons are fully booked.
