Phuti is an excellent teacher. She started when she was at primary school and her teacher used to sent kids to her for lessons. Sometimes they would even follow her home just to learn from her. She then started a student support group called Education is Life when she was in university. The organisation supported grade 11 and matric students during school holidays by giving them extra lessons. After completing her first degree she then went to study to become an educator, and obtained her qualification in 2022. She amazed all of us when she also started teaching her 1yr old daughter to read and then bring in our neighbours' kids for some reading and speaking lessons.
