About Katrina
I am a 2nd year languages student at university in London. I have been delivering online ESOL lessons to children aged between 5-13 since August 2020. I have experience assisting children with their learning pre-covid in schools as well, with experience as a volunteer classroom assistant. I also took part in the Teach First Student Experience in August 2020 where I learned about lesson planning, and how to create and teach an effective lesson. Through my job I also have safeguarding certificates and DBS certificate.

I adapt my classes to the age and the areas in which my students need to improve on. I try to incorporate a range of topics and have meaningful discussions to help develop other skills such as critical thinking, to build vocabulary and improve speech and writing overall. I ensure that my lessons are fun and designed for the age group.
