About Karim Alexandre
My name is Karim Alexandre, and I am a First-Class Law graduate and postgraduate student from the University of Edinburgh with two years of online tutoring experience. Studying Law has greatly developed my ability to analyse complex information, explain difficult ideas clearly and communicate effectively. I bring these skills into every lesson by helping students organise their thinking and approach unfamiliar questions or topics with confidence. Additionally, I am an experienced musician with Grade 8 qualifications in guitar, bass guitar and drums. Whether teaching an academic subject or an instrument, I aim to create a professional, encouraging environment in which students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing genuine confidence in their abilities while also enjoying the learning process.

I offer personalised lessons that match each student’s ability, learning needs, and academic goals. First, I find out where students need more support, then plan lessons with clear explanations, guided practice, targeted questions, and exam-style tasks. I also prepare homework, revision materials, and topic tests using past papers and mark schemes to help students build subject knowledge, exam skills, and independent critical thinking. Most lessons last 60 minutes, but I can arrange longer sessions for extra revision or exam preparation. Most importantly, I keep parents updated about what we cover in lessons, student progress, areas to work on, homework, and upcoming assessments.
