About Luke
Luke Hendon is a guitarist, and composer currently residing north of New York City in the peaceful countryside of Connecticut. He has had a diverse musical career doing everything from touring with major acts, opening for bands like Al Green and Sun Ra to composing music for commercials and film. Recently he has played at the Midwest Gypsy Jazz festival, The New Haven Arts and Ideas Festival, and created an Equinox multimedia event. He has studied guitar with Jack Peterson, William Patterson, Roger Brotherhood, Paulus Shafer, Stephane Wrembel and Gonzalo Bergara as well as others. He is continually involved with the international gypsy jazz community and draws on all styles of music for inspiration.
