About Sara

My name is Sara. I live in Florida, USA. I have 6 years experience teaching Arabic language via online lessons, in school, and private tutoring. My ways of teaching depend on conversations and speaking after explaining all the basic rules. The letters can't be taught very fast and especially for a non-Arabic native speaker because most of the letters and their sounds look like the same. However, I can easily teach the letters in a short time around 7 to 10 hours (*depending on each student's abilities*). During this short time also, I'll let the student practice the reading and writing of these letters and I'll be working a lot on their phonological awareness up to they get to the point that they can read and write words then sentences without any help. My learning methods are based on interactive learning and sensory methods such as auditory and visual methods. In fact, I always choose the appropriate curriculum for each student according to his/her objectives in learning Arabic. Currently, I teach online students from different countries such as Chile, Russia, France, Germany, Haiti, Pakistan, Lebanon, Canada, USA, UAE, UK, and Australia. My teaching credentials are: 1. Bachelor's degree in Education from Lebanon 2. Bachelor's degree in Special Needs Education from Lebanon 3. Teaching students with disabilities Certificate from Florida, USA 4. 45 hours training in child care from Florida, USA 5. ESL (English as a second language) Certificate from Florida, USA 6. Mental Youth Health Certificate from Florida, USA 7. Build relationships in the classrooms to promote success Certificate from Florida, USA 8. How to effectively communicate with children Certificate from Florida, USA I love working with kids and adults a lot because they inspire me to make teaching and learning so fun.
