Find Irish grinds near me in Shannon

The Irish language is built on VSO word order, two types of consonant mutations, and a masculine-feminine noun system.

• Verb-Subject-Object order is the backbone of every Irish sentence.
• Séimhiú (lenition) softens consonants by adding a h, like "cat" becoming "chat."
• Urú (eclipsis) places a new consonant before another, such as "bean" becoming "mbean."
• Gender matters because "an fear mór" (the big man) differs from "an bhean mhór" (the big woman).

A tutor helps you practise these rules in real sentences so the patterns become automatic.

Irish tuition in Shannon typically costs about €36/h for a one-hour session.

The final price depends on things like:

• The student's level: Junior Cert, Leaving Cert, or adult learner
• The tutor's qualifications and teaching experience
• The delivery method: video call, in-person at a centre, or home visits
• Session length and frequency: weekly, twice weekly, or intensive blocks
