About Kyla
My name is Kyla and I am a student at Harris Westminster Sixth Form. I study Geography,Maths,Chemistry and Biology. I thoroughly enjoy these subjects and decided to combine my love for the subjects with teaching. My aim to teach students so they can increase knowledge in the subject and also increase their confidence. Science subject can be difficult at times but if they are taught correctly they can become really fun and easy to navigate!

1 hour 1 to 1 lesson:That includes the Teaching of the new topic then going through practice questions. Finally, consolidating all knowledge with questions and conclusions.
Using an online platform I share my computer screen so the students can see all diagrams and notes.
After the lesson Recap Homework will be set and I will mark next lesson and give feedback. Also all notes made on my computer will be given to the student so over time they will have a folder of revision for that subject.
I believe 3-4 lessons a week are really effective to have maximum learning and retention of topics.
I’ve been a tutor for a year and a half so I have plenty of experience with children from year 3 to year 12 and work with them to achieve and surpass their target grade.
I am a student at Harris Westminster sixth form. I achieved 9s and 8s in GCSEs and Predicted to get AAAA*. I will be studying Medical Genetics in university.
