About Elina

About me! Hi! My name is Elina, and I am from the United Kingdom. I am pursuing a degree in Geography and Oceanography at Bangor University, driven by a strong interest in understanding the planet's landscapes, climates, and oceans. While I do not have formal paid teaching experience, I have successfully tutored and mentored students across various subjects. I have also been part of the scouting community for many years and have started to weekly volunteer as a DBS checked scout leader with all appropriate training. My goal is to foster confidence and deepen understanding, particularly during the critical stages from Key Stage 3 (KS3) to A-level. I earned an A* in GCSE Geography and have achieved a grade B in A-level, equipping me with insights into the learning process. In terms of English Literature, I achieved an A* in GCSE and I have achieved a grade B at A-level. Additionally, my involvement and high achievements in musical theatre, singing and drama have honed my communication skills and enabled me to develop an approachable teaching style.

I have taught Elina for 4 years and she is a model student. She is reliable, punctual and meticulous with her efforts. She is very supportive to her peers and works well in groups to teach and debate ideas. She works incredibly hard and leaves no stone unturned in her efforts to be the very best. I couldn't recommend her enough!
