About Henry

I'm a gap year student due to start Medicine at Newcastle University next year, having achieved A*A*A*A in Biology, Chemistry, Maths and History at A-level, and straight 9s at GCSE. Alongside my studies, I've coached cricket, which has given me plenty of experience explaining ideas clearly and patiently to younger students. I take tutoring seriously and enjoy helping students build genuine understanding rather than just memorising methods. Having recently sat these exams myself, I understand exactly what's expected at each level and where students commonly go wrong — which means I can teach with real insight into the exam process.

About the lesson

I achieved A*A*A*A across four A-levels, including an A* in Maths, and have marking and mentoring experience with maths students, so I know exactly where marks are lost and how to fix it. Lessons run 45–60 minutes, tailored to each student's pace, focusing on exam technique and clearing up misconceptions through past papers. I teach GCSE and below Maths. Deadly! Henry is a passionate and energetic tutor. He is very observant of his student and adjusts his teaching style according to how the student responds in class.
