About Oralia
Hi, I’m Oralia, a Year 12 A-level student studying Chemistry, Biology and Psychology, currently predicted A*A*A. I achieved GCSE grades of (concealed information) and have experience supporting students in school through tutoring and mentoring. I decided to start tutoring because I understand how stressful exams can feel, and I genuinely enjoy helping others make sense of topics that once confused them. I like breaking complex ideas down into simple, clear explanations that actually stick. Outside of studying, I enjoy reading and creative subjects, which help me stay balanced. My goal is to help students build confidence, improve their exam technique, and realise they are capable of achieving more than they think.

I begin by identifying areas of difficulty and prioritising those topics to build strong understanding and confidence. Sessions focus on clear explanations, regular questioning, and active recall rather than passive note-taking. I incorporate exam-style and past paper questions to develop technique, alongside straightforward mark scheme feedback so students know exactly how to improve.
The typical lesson length would be 1 hour, but I can be flexible.
I’m most helpful with GCSE Chemistry, Biology and 11+ prep too. I tutor younger peers at school voluntarily with their GCSE or KS3 content on a regular basis, so I am familiar with tailoring lessons to each student.
In GCSEs, I achieved:
chemistry • english lit • english lang • geography • textiles
biology • physics
maths • spanish • computer science
In A-levels, I am predicted A*A*A in Chemistry, Psychology and Biology.

Oralia and I know each other from school. She has really helped with my confidence in chemistry especially, ensuring my grade goes from a 5 to a 8/9 now!! Her methods are simple and straight to the point which help to understand concepts without unnecessary information. She is patient and kind and knows how to talk to a variety of people with different abilities. She is an excellent choice for a chemistry tutor!
