About Faizan
Welcome! I am a dedicated and patient tutor specialising in Maths and Further Maths for GCSE students in Years 7–11.
As a current A-level student who recently sat my GCSEs, I have a deep and up-to-date understanding of what examiners are looking for. I believe that anyone can excel with the right guidance. I myself was in the bottom half of my year between Years 7–10, but with the right tutor, I was able to achieve results I was proud of.
I run professional, structured online sessions which take into account the pace and knowledge of each student. We will focus heavily on understanding key concepts and exam technique, but I would be more than happy to go over whatever the student feels would be most beneficial to them.
I am committed to providing a supportive environment where students feel completely comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.

My lessons are structured around the individual needs of each student. I usually begin by identifying the topics or concepts they find difficult, before breaking them down into simpler, easy-to-understand steps.
I place a strong emphasis on understanding rather than simply memorising methods, while also focusing on exam technique and applying knowledge to different types of questions. I encourage students to ask questions and make mistakes, as I believe this is an important part of learning.
Lessons are conducted online and can be adapted to the student's pace and level of understanding. I am happy to focus on specific topics, work through exam questions, revise for upcoming exams, or provide more general support depending on what the student finds most beneficial.
My lessons are available for GCSE Maths and AQA Level 2 Further Maths students in Years 7–11.
