About Yuliia

I am a dedicated and reliable tutor who takes pride in delivering well-structured and effective lessons. I always prepare in advance and adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s individual needs, ensuring that every lesson is clear, focused, and productive.

I communicate clearly and professionally, and I am committed to creating a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace. My goal is not only to improve grades, but also to build confidence and independent problem-solving skills.

With strong academic results in Maths (A* at GCSE and A at AS Level), I combine subject knowledge with recent exam experience, allowing me to guide students using methods that are both effective and relevant.

You can expect punctuality, organisation, and a positive, encouraging approach in every lesson.

About the lesson

Struggling with maths or just want it to finally make sense? I’ll show you how to understand it step by step.

My approach is simple, clear, and based on my own experience as a student. As an international student, I understand how challenging it can be to fully understand lessons and feel confident in maths. That’s why I focus on explaining topics in a way that actually makes sense.

Maths is not a scary or confusing subject—it’s logical and can even be enjoyable once you understand it properly. You just need the right guidance, and I’m here to help you build that confidence step by step.

My lessons are 1 hour long and focused on one specific topic at a time, so you won’t feel overwhelmed. We will:
- Spend the first 15–20 minutes reviewing the key concepts you need to know;
- Focus mainly on practice, because that’s the most effective way to improve;
- Use the final 10–15 minutes to answer your questions and go over anything you’re unsure about.

I teach GCSE Maths students of all levels, whether you are struggling or aiming for top grades. I achieved an A* in GCSE Maths and an A at AS Level, and I am currently predicted an A in my A-Level exams.

Having been in your position just a couple of years ago, I understand what works and what doesn’t—and I’ll use that to help you succeed.
