About Martin
I currently teach students online, in Vietnam, and we have a spirited time because I learn ahead of time what the parents and students want me to teach and I create lessons with those objectives in mind. If something interesting pops into the students' minds while in a particular lesson, we explore that thought, always encouraging exploration in inquisition through learning. If I'm teaching an ESL lesson to a 3rd grader about Alexander the Great, we take time to look at a map and see, in real time, the areas that Alexander conquered so that the story is not just "words" but we can relate it to "today's" events. When writing I like my students to "paint a picture with words". Be descriptive so I can "see" and "feel" what they are trying to convey to the reader.
