About Elizabeth
I have been working in science, education and community spaces for over 20 years in California and Pennsylvania.
In Pennsylvania, I focused heavily on horticultural education, ecological restoration and propagating native plant species. In California, I focused on learning native species at the Eaton Canyon Nature Center, volunteering at the Los Angeles County Arboretum and many other classes and certifications. Most recently I developed Wildfire defense education for the US Green Building Council California chapter.

Have you heard of the biophilic effect? Humans evolved for thousands of years outside in nature. It’s only in the last 200 years we have lived in these houses and only the last 40 years we’ve had these screens. Using science, ancient practices and hands-on learning together we will process with the tools humans have used for thousands of years. We can explore our themes like Diaspora, ecological history, and how to reconnect with your roots through growing your own food.
