About YIJIN

Hiya, this is YIJIN, originally from China and currently based in London.

I finished my MA Womenswear study at the London College of Fashion this year, and running my own brand at the moment. Before I started my master's study, I also had experienced working for a few high-end fashion companies back in China.

As I was raised in a multicultural environment, I'm sure I'll have different thoughts and perspectives. I enjoy creating and making things and also sharing my knowledge with others. My hobbies not just include photography and graphic design but also whatever is related to creativity, I always believed that we can find our ideas not just in one way.

About the lesson

I believe that becoming a designer requires not only passion but also a diverse set of skills. So I'm here to assist you with the entire process of how garments are made, as well as to provide you with the skills that will make you feel confident about future design projects.

These basic skills below will give you a better understanding of fashion design and will make you feel more confident about the incoming design works. And if you are interested in starting your own business, I can also give you advice and help with seeking suppliers and manufacturing overseas/China or here in London.
