About Rahul

I am a professional economist working at a prestigious international development consultancy, where I advise governments around the world on their economic policies. Alongside this, I have a real passion for learning and teaching, and I take pride in passing that knowledge on to the next generation. I bring both academic excellence and real-world experience into my tutoring. My approach is modern, focused, and effective - very different from the old-school style I often struggled with as a student. I know how important it is for lessons to be clear, engaging, and exam-focused, while still building genuine curiosity and confidence in the subject.

About the lesson

I focus on exam papers and technique, helping students understand what examiners look for while building strong subject knowledge. Lessons are usually 1–1.5 hours and tailored to each student’s needs. I hold a First-Class BSc in Economics and a Distinction MSc from LSE, with professional experience as an economist for the UK government and now at a leading international development consultancy. With 8+ years of experience, I teach GCSE and A-Level Economics and Maths, supporting students of all abilities to gain confidence and achieve top results.

During his time at university he also held the position of President of the Economics Society. In addition to this, he has held multiple jobs positions where strong Economics knowledge is essential, such as the role of Economist and Economics Analyst.
