About Ulrike
Hello, I’m Ulrike.
I am currently completing my PGCE and have a passion for helping learners discover that science is not just a subject to memorise, but a way of understanding the world around us. I bring over 15 years of professional experience in corporate and leadership roles, as well as more than 5 years of experience designing and delivering training programmes for youth and adult learners. This background has equipped me with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear, practical, and engaging way.
I tutor Natural Sciences for Grades 6–9 and Life Sciences for Grades 10–12. I specialise in online tutoring, providing learners with flexible, interactive lessons that make use of digital resources, visual aids, and collaborative learning tools to support understanding and academic success.
Whether a learner needs support with difficult topics, wants to improve their marks, or is preparing for exams, I tailor each lesson to their individual learning style and pace.
My approach is patient, encouraging, and interactive. I believe that every learner can succeed when they are given the right support and the confidence to ask questions. My goal is not only to improve academic performance but also to help learners develop critical thinking skills and a genuine interest in science.
I look forward to helping you build confidence, achieve your goals, and make science make sense.

Struggling with Science or Biology? Let’s change that!
I help learners from Grades 6–12 build confidence, improve their marks, and develop a genuine understanding of science. My teaching style is patient, supportive, and interactive, focusing on understanding rather than memorising.
With over 20 years of professional experience and a background in training and education, I know how to break down difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-understand explanations. Whether you’re preparing for tests and exams, catching up on missed work, or aiming for top marks, I can help.
I specialise in:
✓ Natural Sciences (Grades 6–9)
✓ Life Sciences / Biology (Grades 10–12)
✓ Exam preparation and study techniques
✓ Homework, assignments, and revision support
Every lesson is tailored to the learner’s pace and goals because no two students learn in exactly the same way.
Let’s make science less stressful and more successful!
