About Tyler
I am 28 years old and have ADHD, so I have struggled with learning in classroom settings and know the setbacks that someone with ADHD faces when they are in a classroom. I want to spread the knowledge I have learned with how to navigate through those setbacks and to help students succeed at your own pace in the math and sciences that lead to success in a single class or future STEM majors.

My lessons will consist of covering the basics of the topic the student needs assistance with first, establishing a starting point that consists of what the student already knows and building on top of that knowledge to strengthen their understanding and to build on it. For example, with a student needing help with trigonometric functions, I will establish what functions they have gone through in class (sin, cos, tan, etc.) and then build on that knowledge by introducing the unit circle and explaining how those functions work. Each student regardless of age or background will receive the same level of respect and patience from me to ensure a safe and comfortable environment to learn at their pace.
