About the lesson
Composer, BMus graduate and current MMus student (Goldsmiths, University of London) offers private music lessons in a flexible format, that adapts to each student's project and interests.
Either if you are in need for tools to develop your musical ideas, having a hard time passing that one module in your Music course, or just looking to learn music for curiosity; the idea is to make music learning a meaningful experience according to the different background and interests of each student.
I focus my teaching in a vivid, practice-based lesson, in which you can develop your musical knowledge through the very music you make or you are interested in.
Classes will focus in one or more of the following:
- Arrangement / Instrumentation
- Sight-reading / Sight-singing
- Ear training
- Music theory in general
My music studies include both classical music theory and contemporary music composition, and popular music and audio production. So don't hesitate to ask if your particular music project is suited for the guide I can provide!
- Music reading
- Music Theory
I am deeply convinced of the importance of taking music education out of the academic boundaries. As someone who was in need of more experienced musician's guidance when I started my musical activities, my goal is to provide such guide to musicians of any age, who may or may not be doing a Music course.
I have taught private music lessons in Composition, Music Theory, Aural Skills and Counterpoint since 2012.
I have also been tutor for several Music courses in the Music Institute of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, which include: Music Literature (2011) and Sight Reading and Ear Training (2015-2016) for first, second and third-year students.
