About María José
I have been a performing artist since I was 8 years old.
I have the title of "Master in Dramatic Arts" from the Politécnico Grancolombiano.
I studied Illusionism at the School of Magical Arts in Bogotá and graduated as a professional in 2009. I studied 6 years at the MISI Musical Theater Academy, where I acquired knowledge about Dance, Theater and Music.

My way of teaching varies according to the student.
I have a structured class but I am flexible in the content depending on how the class flows and the previous knowledge of the student or what they acquire quickly.
My motto is: Play while we learn.
Theater is studied through games and body techniques.
I like that the class is dynamic, fun and where the students can also contribute to it.
They are very busy classes, almost never theoretical, where we explore our body, our voice, our attention, our proposal and our agility for improvisation.
Through the classes we will not only learn theatrical initiation but also tips to be able to stand in front of an audience without fear, have control of our voice and remove fear or shame when it comes to being in front of another group of people.
I also teach drama classes, an emphasis that particularly interests me. The classes are a little more theoretical but always appealing to creativity and the movement of the imagination.
