About Mag
I recently earned my M.S. in Biochemistry. There were subjects that I excelled in and of course there were others that I struggled with. I've had the opportunity to tutor and be tutored. That is why I understand the importance of having a more focused study session to really grasp concepts. I find it rewarding when I am able to help students understand a topic. I am dedicated to helping students learn and hope to make learning less scary and more fun!

Teaching method: Problem-based learning. I believe students learn best when they can apply the concepts they learn. I also keep an open mind to the approach I take since each student's learning needs are different.
A typical lesson plan: We would tackle concepts that are difficult to grasp by starting with what the student already understands. I like to break things down step by step so that the student can understand each part of a concept.
I have experience from my highschool and college days tutoring my peers and as a graduate student I gained experience as a teaching associate and by teaching my labmates.
