About Mahmooda

Hello, my name is Mahmooda Sideeqa. I am a 22-year-old female in London. I am currently studying for a Master's degree in Social Work after achieving a 2:1 Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Policing.

I have a strong passion for education and helping students achieve their academic goals. Having completed my undergraduate studies and progressed to postgraduate level, I understand the challenges that students can face when balancing coursework, assignments, revision, and academic expectations.

Throughout my studies, I have developed strong skills in academic writing, critical analysis, research methods, essay planning, and referencing. I enjoy helping students build confidence in these areas and develop the skills needed to become independent and successful learners.

My academic background in criminology, policing, and social work has provided me with a broad understanding of social issues, criminal justice, human behaviour, policy, and evidence-based practice. I aim to create a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with their studies.

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs and learning style. Whether you need support with criminology, social work, policing, academic writing, research methods, essay structure, referencing, or exam preparation, I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where you can build confidence and improve your academic performance.

Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, although longer sessions can be arranged for assignment support, dissertation guidance, or exam preparation. Each lesson is structured around your goals, ensuring you leave with a clearer understanding of the topic and practical strategies you can apply independently to your studies.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Policing and am currently completing a Master's degree in Social Work. Through my academic studies, I have developed strong skills in research, critical analysis, academic writing, and evidence-based practice. I understand the challenges students face in higher education and can provide practical guidance to help them succeed.

My lessons are suitable for A-Level students, undergraduate students, and adult learners studying criminology, policing, social work, sociology, and related social science subjects. I also offer support with study skills, assignment planning, literature reviews, and referencing for students who want to improve their confidence and academic performance.

My goal is not only to help students achieve better grades but also to develop the skills and confidence needed to become independent and successful learners.
