About the lesson

I take a student-centred approach to tutoring, tailoring each lesson to the individual’s learning style, pace, and goals. I break down complex mathematical concepts into simple, relatable steps, using real-life examples and visual aids where appropriate. I focus on building a strong conceptual foundation first, then reinforcing it through guided practice, problem-solving techniques, and regular feedback. I also work on boosting the student’s confidence by creating a supportive and encouraging environment where questions are always welcome. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I also offer shorter (45 min) or longer (90 min+) sessions depending on the student’s needs and focus level. I provide homework help, exam preparation, topic reviews, or full curriculum support — whatever best supports the student's success. I’ve been tutoring for 6 years, helping students from primary school to university level. I’ve supported learners of all abilities from those struggling with the basics to high-achievers preparing for competitive exams like the GCSE, A-Level, IB, or university entrance tests. My lessons are suitable for students aged 10 and up, including secondary school students, college/university students, adult learners, and exam candidates. Whether you're trying to catch up or aiming for top grades, I’ll work with you to help you reach your full potential in mathematics.
