About Elora
I am a UWA student completing a master of biotechnology. I am only relatively recently out of high school, so I remember very clearly the challenges that come with it. As such, supporting other students and helping them to gain confidence in themselves and their ability is what drove me to become a tutor.

Experience:
I have 6 years experience tutoring Primary and High school students in Maths, Science and English. Additionally, I have spent the last two years working for Young Engineers Canberra as a STEM educator. In this role I taught classes ranging from 6 to 30 students about Science and Engineering, and received professional training as an educator.
My Lessons:
My tutoring sessions are typically 1 hour; however, sessions can be longer if needed. I focus on building student's confidence and academic skills in addition to helping them with content so that they feel capable taking on challenges by themselves. My schedule is very flexible and I am able to teach additional lessons or answer questions at late notice, especially for high school students during assignment or exam periods.
Qualifications:
Queensland Certificate of Education (ATAR 99.25)
Bachelor of Science majoring in Biochemistry (GPA 6.2)
Currently completing Master of Biotechnology
Working with Vulnerable People card
