About Maricel
I graduated with a double degree- Secondary Mathematics and Computer Science. I have experience teaching from elementary, middle school and high school. I am currently teaching 7th grade math and I would like to try to tutor students in math as my part time job.

My teaching method is to check first the student’s foundational math background and identify what factors hinder him/her from learning math — i.e. misconceptions in math both conceptually and procedurally, basic math facts were not taught, low test scores due to poor testing skills/strategies, etc.
