About April
I am a patient and compassionate individual with firsthand experience navigating the challenges of learning with ADHD. Because of this, I understand that every student learns differently, and I strive to create supportive, engaging, and effective study methods tailored to each person’s needs.
Over time, I have developed practical study techniques and helpful strategies that make learning more enjoyable and manageable. I am intelligent and motivated, consistently aiming for grades above 80%, and I have successfully helped several friends improve their academic performance.
When tutoring, I foster a positive and comfortable learning environment, set achievable goals, and provide ongoing support by following up after assessments to ensure concepts were fully understood. I also work collaboratively with students to identify areas for improvement and build their confidence in their abilities.

I am open to tutoring sessions where students bring their own work or areas they would like to improve. I can also provide practice exercises, notes, and examples to help strengthen their understanding and skills.
My mother was a high school math teacher for over 25 years. Therefore, I developed very strong mathematical skills. I had an average of almost 95% in high school. This is my strongest and favorite subject to date.
