About Mckenna
I am a young recent graduate and personally understand the difficulties of learning in the classroom.
I understand how sometimes things can be frustrating and sometimes taking a different route than what a teacher is providing, may be all a student needs to succeed academically.
I have experience coaching and working with those with ADD, ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, etc; and am knowledgable on how to work with such students to keep learning fun and engaging. Each lesson will be personalized to best fit the student and push them to succeed.
Overall I strive to help make school and lessons something for a student to look forward to. I want my students to take pride in finally achieving their mathematical goals and have a little fun while along the way.

I approach tutoring as a personal experience for the student, taking one on one learning to the next level.
I break down math into its step by step forms as well as why certain solutions work in different equations.
I specialize in almost any highschool math course, grades 9-12, and have many different resources to pull from to assist in teaching.

I use different learning styles based on the student and provide engaging activities to help make learning fun and not a chore.
I pre-plan lessons and tutoring sessions by setting up activities, short breaks, mock tests, etc; to simulate the classroom environment.
I work well with students that have Autism, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, etc; and adapt to situations as they arise in a manner that best benefits the learning environment.
