About Akira
My name is Akira Solomon, I am a business analyst who has been teaching math for the past 7 years. I’ve always had a passion for math—it’s one of my favorite subjects because of the logic, structure, and problem-solving it involves. What I love most about tutoring math is helping students overcome the fear or frustration they often feel toward the subject. Watching a student go from saying “I can’t do this” to confidently solving problems on their own is incredibly rewarding. I enjoy breaking down complex concepts into simpler steps and seeing that moment when it finally clicks for them.

With 7 years of experience in math tutoring, I have taught a wide range of students at different skill levels. I understand how to adapt my tutoring style to meet the students' needs. The biggest problem with students is that they haven't been taught the basics properly. Practice and repetition are essential to improving one's math marks.
