I am Chrishawna Martin, a dedicated and experienced Mathematics educator with a Middle School Mathematics teacher license for grades 7-12 at the NYC Department of Education. I am excited to express my interest in the Math Tutor position. I have seven years of classroom experience and twelve years as a tutor grades 3 to Algebra I. With over a decade of experience in mathematics education and five years in online tutoring and designing instructional standard based activities. My typical lesson plan would be a mini lesson and activity of the current topic personalized with students interest and needs followed by a formative assessment used for next steps.
