About Ehab

During high school I was really lazy and all the subjects seemed useless so I ended up spending most of my time through high school bludging, it wasn't until my prelim year (2U Math) where I realized math could be beautiful, intuitive and useful, but unfortunately I was already quite behind in my education from years of bludging. So I had to put in extra work and effort to keep up with everyone else, later I picked up 3U Math and even wanted to do 4U but my teacher didn't let me because I was too lacking.

I've pulled through and now I'm studying Mathematics (3rd Year) at UNSW with a distinction average but I know what it's like to be a struggling student - to have gaps in your knowledge and not know what's going on in class.

So no matter what level you are at, I'll try my best to bridge any gaps of knowledge and clear up any confusions, so please go ahead and grab a lesson!

About the lesson

I aim to teach a strong foundation in Math, building on intuition and effective guidance for any level (2U, 3U, 4U) in HSC mathematics with students at any amount of knowledge.

I like to inspire the beauty of mathematics in my students and really try to focus on the deeper underlying concepts of why and how something is true, rather than the simple algorithmic solving of a question. I think to really excel and go far in math you need to have an intuition of how different mathematical objects interact and behave and this is the intuition that I hope to teach through deliberate practice problems/examples, visual aids, clear explanations but most importantly fun and wonder!
