About Reid
I hold a PhD in Mathematics and have 11 years of teaching experience working with students from different academic levels. My interest in Math began with a strong curiosity for numbers and patterns, which later developed into a passion for teaching and guiding students.
My teaching approach focuses on clarity, patience, and structured explanation. I break down complex concepts into simple steps so students can understand them easily. I use examples, guided exercises, and regular practice to help students improve steadily. I also adapt my teaching style based on each student’s pace and comfort level to ensure they feel supported and confident.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy solving advanced mathematical problems and exploring new teaching techniques. Teaching Math is very fulfilling because I see students grow in confidence and understanding over time. Helping them achieve their academic goals motivates me to continue teaching with dedication and care.

Mathematics becomes easier when students clearly understand concepts instead of memorizing formulas without knowing their meaning. My lessons focus on building strong foundations in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus through clear and well-structured explanations. I guide students step by step so they can understand how problems are solved and how different methods work. I include multiple examples and practice exercises that allow learners to apply concepts and gradually improve their accuracy. Each session is designed to be calm and supportive so students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
I carefully plan lessons based on each student’s level and learning goals to ensure steady progress. Beginners focus on understanding basic concepts and solving simple problems. Intermediate learners work on multi-step problems, different solving approaches, and improving accuracy. Advanced students focus on complex problems, exam preparation, and developing speed and efficiency. Practice routines, revision techniques, and regular feedback are included to support consistent improvement and deeper understanding over time.
Mathematics lessons also help students build logical thinking, focus, and confidence. As they improve, they begin to approach problems with clarity and reduced fear. Many students start enjoying Maths once they understand it properly. My goal is to make Mathematics simple, structured, and confidence-building.
