About Georgia
My passion for mathematics began with the fascination of patterns and logic in everyday life. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics followed by an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, providing both theoretical grounding and applied understanding. Over 8 years, I have guided students at different levels, helping them develop problem-solving skills, conceptual clarity, and self-confidence.
I teach with patience, clarity, and adaptability, emphasising understanding over rote learning. My lessons combine stepwise explanations, practical examples, and visual aids to make abstract concepts accessible. I encourage students to explore independently, ask questions, and think critically, fostering both competence and curiosity.
Beyond tutoring, I actively engage in mathematical research, workshops, and applied problem-solving projects. Integrating these insights into lessons helps students see mathematics in context and relevance. Watching learners gain confidence, grasp challenging topics, and develop analytical skills is deeply rewarding, motivating me to continually refine my teaching approach and inspire new generations of mathematicians.

Mathematics is not just numbers—it’s a language for reasoning and problem-solving. In my lessons, I focus on helping students develop a strong foundation in algebra, calculus, and discrete mathematics through interactive examples, visualisations, and real-world applications. Each session emphasises conceptual understanding, guiding learners to comprehend the logic behind formulae and methods rather than relying on memorisation. By building a structured approach to problem-solving, students gain confidence and independence in tackling complex challenges.
Lessons are customised to meet each student’s level. Beginners focus on foundational skills, basic equations, and problem decomposition, building confidence and clarity. Intermediate learners engage with multi-step problems, functions, and graph analysis, reinforcing analytical thinking. Advanced learners explore calculus, abstract reasoning, and mathematical modelling, preparing for higher academic challenges. Through guided exercises, collaborative problem-solving, and thoughtful questioning, I help learners internalise methods and apply them creatively across diverse problems.
Beyond technical skills, mathematics lessons develop critical thinking, focus, and intellectual curiosity. Students learn to approach problems methodically, test hypotheses, and verify solutions logically. My goal is to nurture analytical minds who can apply mathematical reasoning confidently, both academically and in real-world scenarios, creating learners who appreciate the elegance and utility of mathematics.
