About Tessa
I have 11 years of experience teaching Mathematics and helping students build strong understanding and confidence. I hold a PhD in Mathematics, which provided me with deep knowledge of advanced mathematical concepts and analytical thinking. Over the years, I have worked with students at different levels and helped them improve through structured lessons and clear explanations.
My teaching approach is patient, clear, and focused on understanding. I believe every student can succeed in Mathematics when it is explained in a simple and logical way. I break down complex problems into smaller steps and use examples to make learning easier. I encourage students to ask questions and actively participate.
I continue to stay connected with Mathematics by solving problems and exploring new teaching techniques. Teaching Math is very fulfilling because I see students grow in confidence and understanding over time. Helping them overcome challenges gives me great satisfaction. My goal is to support every learner in building strong knowledge, confidence, and a positive mindset, so they can achieve their goals and continue learning Mathematics with clarity, curiosity, and confidence in their abilities.

Mathematics becomes easier when students understand the logic behind each step instead of memorizing formulas without clarity. In my lessons, I focus on building strong foundations in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and calculus. I explain each concept in simple English and break problems into smaller steps so students can clearly follow the process. I also use practical examples to show how Math connects to real-life situations. This approach reduces fear and builds confidence gradually. I create a calm and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace.
Lessons are carefully structured based on the student’s level and learning needs. Beginners focus on number basics, simple equations, and building confidence. Intermediate learners work on algebraic expressions, graphs, and multi-step problem solving. Advanced students explore calculus, advanced reasoning, and exam preparation. I provide step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and regular feedback to ensure strong understanding. This method supports steady progress and builds confidence over time.
As students continue learning, they develop stronger logical thinking and problem-solving abilities. They become more confident in solving different types of questions independently. Many students start enjoying Math as they understand its patterns and structure. My goal is to help learners build strong conceptual understanding and confidence. I aim to guide them toward becoming independent problem solvers who can think clearly, approach challenges calmly, and apply mathematical knowledge effectively in both academic and real-life situations with confidence and accuracy.
