About Annika
Hi! I’m an ambitious and passionate Maths and Stats tutor currently pursuing a Master’s in Applied Mathematics, with plans to continue into a PhD in Mathematics. I have a strong academic background, experience in online tutoring, and have worked as a teaching assistant as part of my degree where I enjoyed supporting students in both group and one-on-one settings. Having lived in three different countries, I’m very comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds and adapting my communication style to suit different learners. I’ve taught GCSE and A-Level students across a range of exam boards, always aiming to build not just subject knowledge, but also confidence and problem-solving skills. By linking Maths to everyday situations, I help students see the subject in a whole new light where maths is logical, interesting, and achievable. My goal is to create a supportive, engaging environment where students feel encouraged to ask questions and motivated to reach their full potential! :))

My tutoring approach is all about tailoring each lesson to fit the unique needs and goals of every student. My lessons are ideal for secondary school and sixth form students (typically ages 14–18) preparing for important exams or simply wanting to improve their skills in a supportive, motivating environment.
