About Patrick
My passion for mathematics began with fascination for how abstract patterns can describe real systems in science, technology, and everyday decision-making. I earned a B.Sc in Mathematical Sciences and later an M.Sc in Computational Mathematics, which allowed me to explore both pure reasoning and applied modelling. Over the past 11 years, I have supported students through mathematics with patience, clarity, and structured encouragement.
I believe strong math learning comes from understanding concepts deeply rather than memorising procedures. My teaching style focuses on breaking problems into manageable steps, using clear explanation, and helping students build confidence through guided practice. I adapt lessons carefully to match each learner’s pace and goals.
Outside tutoring, I remain connected to mathematics through computational research reading, modelling projects, and continued exploration of modern mathematical applications. Teaching is meaningful because I witness learners transform from uncertainty into confident thinkers who approach problems with calm reasoning and independence.

Mathematics becomes far more enjoyable when students understand that every formula is part of a bigger logical story. My lessons focus on building strong foundations in algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and problem-solving through calm guidance and meaningful explanation. I help learners see mathematics not as isolated rules, but as connected ideas that grow naturally from simple principles. Each session is designed to reduce stress, encourage curiosity, and create steady academic improvement through clarity and structure.
Lessons are always tailored to the student’s level. Beginners strengthen number sense, fractions, equations, and core reasoning skills with patient step-by-step support.
