About Alex
My name is Alex, a King's College London Mathematics graduate.
I'm here to tutor in a collaborative style that works for you. I believe that anyone can learn anything given the right approach. Mathematics and Sciences should be accessible to anyone that wants to learn!
I have gained A level Mathematics Further Mathematics and Physics, then went on to study for Mathematics BSc, so I have been passionate about Maths for many years! I will be beginning an MSc in Psychology this September. From my own study, I have developed a learning style that has allowed me to have a deep understanding of topics that I can share with others. Maths can and should be enjoyable to learn!
I currently work as a mentor for Chance UK for disadvantaged children and have worked in schools.

In our first session, we will discuss your current stage in the curriculum and any particular weaknesses you would like to focus on. From there I will structure customised lesson plans, with flexibility if we need to change focus.
Taking a person-focused approach, we can cover deeper understanding, practice questions, exam prep, fun learning or a mix. It is important for me to take into account individual learning style and adapt the delivery method based on this.
