One of my favorite parts of being an educator was creating lessons that led to that "oh" moment of understanding. I can see where your understanding lies now, and help you develop skills to reach your goals in truly understanding the mathematics in such a way where you can explain it to others by the end of a lesson.

I try to cater every lesson to the student I work with. I get to know your level of understanding first and then build those skills to reach your goal by the end of each session. Once I gauge where a student's background knowledge lies, then I create lessons and materials to build upon current or prior understanding. I also know how to design lessons completely from no understanding of the math using real world examples to explain concepts in mathematics. I can and have taught high school algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and have 3 years of teaching concurrent enrollment College Algebra.
