About Judah
Last year I graduated from the University of Warwick, UK with a First Class Master’s degree in Mathematics (MMath), taking a large number of Statistics modules alongside my Maths studies. I began tutoring Maths when I was studying for my A-levels and haven’t stopped since! I love to see my students learn, improve and to have those ‘light bulb’ moments that make all the difference. I have a wide variety of tutoring experience; I have helped Key Stage 1 students to get back on target for their SATs; I have taught talented young people wanting to be stretched and achieve an A* in A-level Further Maths; I have taught A-level Statistics to a student taking the subject independently. No two customers are the same, and I pride myself on the flexible, tailored approach to tutoring that I offer. Based on each student’s needs and targets and my own experience I produce a detailed plan that will guide our lessons, setting my own homeworks and making my own tests to ascertain each student’s working level, and every student knows that their input is always welcome. We work together to make your Maths magic.

My recommended lesson is two hours long for AS and A-level subjects and one hour for GCSE. Either way, they begin with a short starter exercise to get your brain going and to get ready for the upcoming content. This is followed by an introduction to new material with plenty of examples (of both a real-life and exam-style nature) and accompanying exercises to get you some practice of your own. At the lesson's end you will be set homework tasks that are specially selected to expand your knowledge and grow your confidence. Plus, at the beginning of the following lesson we will spend some time discussing these homework questions, which is a great way for you to confirm and solidify your understanding.
Currently I am available to teach GCSE, AS and A-level Mathematics, AS and A-level Further Maths and GCSE and A-level Statistics. Besides this I can assist students with other mathematical needs, such as for university STEM admissions tests. For those working towards exams my lessons can be taken alongside your studies at school or college or as a standalone course coordinated by myself to be sat at an external exam centre. My most popular lessons are by far my A-level Maths support classes and A/A* booster lessons for those sitting the Further Maths A-level. Looking forward to hearing from you!
