About Finn
I have been passionate about mathematics since childhood, fascinated by logical reasoning, problem-solving, and patterns. This led me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics, equipping me to teach elementary school math, middle school math, algebra, geometry, SAT math, and Calculus effectively. Over 8 years, I have helped students develop confidence, skill, and enjoyment in mathematics at all levels. My teaching emphasizes clarity, engagement, and adaptability. I use stepwise explanations, visual tools, practical exercises, and interactive problem-solving to ensure learners fully grasp concepts. I encourage curiosity, independent thinking, and confidence in every lesson. Outside the classroom, I explore puzzles, research, and practical applications of mathematics to enrich lessons. Teaching mathematics is deeply fulfilling because I witness students develop analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and a lasting appreciation for the beauty and logic of mathematics.
