About Calvin
My interest in mathematics originated from a fascination with numbers, patterns, and logical problem-solving, which inspired me to pursue a B.Sc in Mathematics and an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics. Over the past 12 years, I have guided learners of varying levels, helping them transform abstract concepts into clear understanding while developing analytical skills, confidence, and intellectual curiosity.
I use a teaching methodology that combines clear explanations, interactive exercises, real-world applications, and step-by-step problem-solving. I encourage students to explore multiple approaches, ask questions, and reason independently, fostering creativity and deep comprehension.
Beyond the classroom, I stay engaged with mathematical research, problem-solving challenges, and applied projects to ensure lessons are meaningful, relevant, and stimulating. Watching students progress from hesitation to mastery, develop critical thinking, and approach problems confidently is profoundly rewarding. My mission is to cultivate learners who are proficient, confident, and inspired by mathematics in both academic and practical contexts.
