About Iraja
My interest in mathematics started with a fascination for patterns, logical reasoning, and solving challenging problems. I pursued an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics and Operations Research, where I studied optimization, mathematical modeling, probability, and applied statistics. Over 9 years of teaching, I have guided learners from foundational understanding to advanced problem-solving, helping them gain clarity, competence, and confidence. I emphasize a teaching approach that balances patience, clarity, and adaptability. Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace and learning style, using stepwise explanations, real-world examples, and guided problem-solving exercises. I encourage critical thinking, independent reasoning, and active participation, ensuring learners build both conceptual understanding and practical skills. Beyond teaching, I engage in applied mathematics projects, research, and statistical modeling, which enrich my lessons with real-world relevance. Teaching mathematics is profoundly rewarding because I see students progress from uncertainty to confidence, mastering both analytical reasoning and practical application.
