About Saheli
My fascination with mathematics started with an interest in patterns, logic, and problem-solving in everyday life. I pursued an M.Sc in Applied Mathematics and Computational Analysis, where I studied optimization, modeling, probability, and advanced problem-solving techniques. Over 9 years of teaching, I have helped learners at multiple levels gain clarity, competence, and confidence in mathematics. I focus on clarity, patience, and adaptability in teaching. Lessons are structured to reinforce conceptual understanding, provide guided practice, and foster independent reasoning. I encourage learners to think critically, ask questions, and connect ideas across topics, ensuring a solid foundation and mastery of skills. Outside teaching, I stay engaged in applied mathematics, modeling projects, and statistical research, allowing me to bring practical and contemporary examples into lessons. Teaching mathematics is profoundly rewarding because I witness students grow from hesitation to confidence, mastering both reasoning and application. Supporting learners in developing analytical thinking and problem-solving skills is central to my work.

My lessons focus on building comprehension and confidence in topics such as algebra, calculus, trigonometry, probability, statistics, and problem-solving strategies. I emphasize the connections between concepts and practical applications, helping students visualize ideas and develop structured thinking. Lessons are patient, interactive, and supportive, encouraging students to ask questions, explore solutions, and practice independently. I integrate diagrams, worked examples, and problem-solving exercises to strengthen analytical thinking, logical reasoning, and confidence in mathematical applications.
Lesson difficulty is tailored to the learner’s skill level. Beginners strengthen number sense, basic operations, and foundational problem-solving. Intermediate learners explore multi-step calculations, functions, and logical reasoning. Advanced learners focus on abstraction, proofs, optimization problems, and exam strategies. Feedback is continuous to reinforce understanding and mastery.
